Anyone who has owned a freestyle scooter for some time and has already mastered tricks will soon be looking for new challenges. In doing so, you will quickly end up with the so-called pegs. These are the small metal pipes, which are mounted left or/and right over the axle bolts on the scooter. With it different tricks can be made, for example grinding is possible with it. With the Pegs there are a few things to consider. If you should buy pegs, you must also think about a new axle. The length of the axles is adjusted exactly to the fork and for the use with pegs they are unfortunately too short. Fortunately, there are also manufacturers like anaquda who deliver the axles in different lengths. So you can still decide if you want to mount the pegs on both sides or only on one side. Pegs are mostly made of aluminium or steel. Steel pegs are generally stronger than aluminium pegs, whereas aluminium pegs are of course lighter. Some riders use steel pegs, others aluminium pegs. In the end, everyone should try out which peg suits him/her better, because there are differences in shape as well. For example, MGP offers very thin pegs, but anaquda thicker ones. There are also differences in the colors, so you should just buy what fits your freestyle scooter. Pegs are available from anaquda, but also from District, MGP and BLUNT.
